Numis Question from a non-numis guy...
I have a state quarter (Alaska) that was obviously struck wrong during the minting process. The image is off-center to the right. On the left side the rim is very thick, and there is no rim at all on the right. There is also no reeded edge on the quarter. It is perfectly smooth over 95% of the edge.
Would this be of any value to a collector? I know there are some collectors who look specifically for error coins. Any input? What should I do with it? Thanks! |

There should be INFO in the above you can study if you want to. NO BODY cares about your money like you do. NOBODY! So don't trust anyone without taking the time to research the investment by yourself. When I was 10 my wonderful uncle bought 2 1909 S VDB CENTS from DUMB me for $10 each. I did not research them ENOUGH. I did not need the money that bad - I had paper routes. I would grade them at about MS64 to MS65 now. Somewhere retailed NOW at $3000 to $4250 :23_30_104: E A C H ! I learned 55 years ago NOT to get screwed ANYMORE :36_1_30: - or shall I say again! |
